SAVINGS

• A prospective customer was using a piggyback label stock (label on a label) to barcode his product carton. Our salesperson suggested the potential significant savings of using a single ply thermal transfer paper label. By die-cutting the liner and face in a particular pattern, this current customer has saved over 40% over their previous label cost.
  
  
• This prospective customer was introduced to a very cost-effective alternative to kimdura. After extensive testing, he purchased a label supply of this new material which saves him 35% over his previous label cost.
  
  
• We received an urgent call from our customer who required an overnight delivery for some colored labels. The size was critical, and none of the stock sizes would suffice. The quantity was small and no one could turn a job around in the needed time frame. We recommended rushing out test rolls of colored ribbons. That way, they could print on the blank white labels they had in house and be able to immediately serve their customers' unexpected requirements. The test went extremely well, and this customer ordered inventory of all the colors we sent for testing. Now when they have an urgent request from a customer for color-coding, the ink is sitting right on the shelf, and they are able to save a fortune on small custom runs.

THE RIGHT MATERIAL

• This Midwest manufacturer told us of his problem finding a tamper-evident, water-resistant, thermal transfer-imprintable label that could be automatically applied. The substrate he was labeling was a plastic part, and his current label stock was falling off after application and being subjected to extreme cold temperatures. After over a year of testing materials from several manufacturers, we developed the perfect solution in a completely custom face stock and adhesive. With no more downtime because of label application and adhesion issues, our customer has substantially increased productivity with this effective labeling solution.
  
  
• A manufacturer of cement garden statuary needed a label to stick to his products. It needed to be weatherproof, thermal transfer imprintable, and stick well, yet remove cleanly when the product was transferred to their customers. After testing, we found that both a certain permanent and also a removable adhesive product worked well. They ordered the removable and now have the solution they required.

DELIVERY

• This current client needed a custom-printed label to satisfy his prospective customer's requirements. To impress his prospect, NTI's client asked if these labels could be delivered on the next day. These labels did ship less than 24 hours after they were ordered, and NTI's client now has a new regular customer.

DESIGN ASSISTANCE

• Quality was the issue for this printing company. They needed an embossed seal in multiple designs, and submitted artwork for them. Rather than just running the product as the artwork required, we suggested changes, and submitted proofs to improve the final printed product, which was a great success.
